Þau hafa staðið að fjölda hljóðritana fyrir Decca\, Hyperion og Arts og komið fram víða um heim.\nÁ tónleikum þeirra í Hannesarholti verða flutt Impromptus Op.90 eftir F.Schubert og Etýður Op.25 eftir F.Chopin auk fjórhenta Fantasíu Schuberts.\n\nNánar um flytjendur á ensku:\nAlessandra Ammara and Roberto Prosseda have been playing together steadily since 1999\, drawing from their respective and intense international solo careers continuous stimuli and cues to be reposed in the duo’s activity.Winner of major competitions\, including the Casagrande\, Viotti\, Iturbi and Honens\, Alessandra Ammara has been a guest in some of the most prestigious concert halls such as the Musikverein in Vienna and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. As a soloist\, she has collaborated with renowned orchestras such as Wiener Symphoniker and Berliner Symphoniker\, conducted by Fabio Luisi\, George Pehlivanian and Bernard Labadie. Her discography for Arts label includes several albums dedicated to Schumann\, Chopin and Giacinto Scelsi. She is currently recording Debussy’s Complete Piano Works for Piano Classics.\nRoberto Prosseda gained international fame following his recordings of the complete Mendelssohn piano music (Decca\, 2005 –14)\, published in a box set in 2017. Over the past twenty years Roberto has performed with some of the world’s leading orchestras and conductors. With the Gewandhausorchester and Riccardo Chailly\, he recorded Mendelssohn’s then-unpublished E minor piano concerto. Since 2011 he has also performed on piano-pédalier: for the Hyperion label he recorded Gounod’s complete works for this instrument\, joined by the Orchestra della Radio Svizzera Italiana conducted by Howard Shelley. In 2022 Roberto completed his project to record the complete Mozart piano works (10 CDs\, Decca). His recent albums include two further Hyperion releases: “War Silence”\, with London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Nir Kabaretti (2025\, winner of the ICMA Awards 2026 for the best Concerto recording)\, and Bizet Piano Works (2026).\nAlessandra Ammara and Roberto Prosseda recorded Mendelssohn’s complete works for 4-hands piano\, including the original transcription of the incidental music for A Midsummer Night’s Dream\, on a Decca CD released in November 2015. They also recorded Mendelssohn’s Concertos for two pianos in E major and in A flat Major with Residentie Orkest The Hague\, conducted by Jan Willem de Vriend (Decca\, 2019).\nKaupa
