Nicolas Lolli, Bryndís Halla Gylfadóttir og Mathias Susaas Halvorsen komu saman í fyrsta sinn sem tríóið Reykjavik Mozart Ensemble á hádegistónleikum í Hannesarholti sunnudaginn 6.september. Uppselt var á tónleikana og því eru þeir endurteknir sunnudaginn 13.september kl.12.15. Í fyrsta verkefni sínu sem tríó takast þau á við tvö stórverk fyrir píanó tríó eftir Smetana og Schubert. Frá fyrstu æfingu smullu þau saman í leikgleði án þess að þurfa að tala. Öll eru þau sammála um að kammertónlist skuli vera frjáls, sjálfsprottin, sveigjanleg og full af gleði.

In their first project together as a trio, Bryndis, Nicola and Mathias, as the Reykjavik Mozart Ensemble, are tackling two of the most epic and heartwarming works written for piano trio. From the first rehearsal they felt working together was easy and immensely pleasurable, almost without the need to say anything at all. All theee musicians agree that chamber music should be free, spontaneous, flexible and full of joy. They also like each other, and have so far been laughing more than fighting, and spent more time playing than not.
