Þetta vestnorræna dúó heldur tónleika í Hannesarholti laugardaginn 10. nóvember. Dúóið skipa þeir Ingi Bjarni Skúlason á píanó og hinn færeyski Bárður Reinert Poulsen á kontrabassa. Þeir spila iðulega saman með tríói Inga Bjarna, sem nýverið gaf út plötuna „Fundur“. Tónlistin er undir áhrifum frá þjóðlögum og jazzi. Á þessum dúó tónleikum munu þeir nálgast lög af plötunni á ferskan hátt. Lögin verða jafnframt tengd saman með frjálsum spuna þar sem allt getur gerst!

This West Nordic duo will play at Hannesarholt on the 10th of November. The duo consists of Ingi Bjarni Skúlason from Iceland on piano, and Bárður Reinert Poulsen from the Faroe Islands on double bass. They often play together in a trio which recently released the recording “Fundur”. The music is under the influences of jazz and folk music. On this duo concert they will perform songs from the new album with a fresh approach. Furthermore, the songs will be connected with free improvisations where anything can happen!
